Almac has invested in ICP-MS equipment at their headquarters in Craigavon, UK to help clients satisfy new heavy metal mandates from the FDA, for the control and documentation of all elemental impurities in drug products, substances and excipients.   All components, processes, packaging and final product must be tested for the presence of heavy metals to be in compliance with USP , EP (2.4.20), and ICH Q3D.
